NZR+ partner with You Tube sensation Dude Perfect

Dude Perfect are You Tuber’s with 60.1 million subscribers and in partnership with New Zealand Rugby’s content platform NZR+, they travelled ‘down under’ to capture one of their infamous bucket list videos.

The content premiered exclusively on Dude Perfect channels on Sunday 19 May, with behind the scenes content available on NZR+.  
The one episode special, features Dude Perfect joined by All Blacks and Black Ferns players on their trip to the adventure capital of the world, Queenstown to tick off a bucket list of adrenaline fuelled (with a touch of rugby) experiences.  
New Zealand rugby legends Richie McCaw, Kendra Cocksedge, Stephen Donald, Piri Weepu and Andy Ellis, come together to induct Dude Perfect to rugby and the culture behind the rugby teams in New Zealand. With a selection of trickshot challenges in the mix, including a swing jump with Richie, a perfectly excuted rugby pass from Andy to Dude Perfect between two speed boats, and a variety of other rugby (and non-rugby) action for fans to tune in to see on NZR+.  
Dude Perfect reflected on filming down under as one of the highlights of their career to date, “We’d been looking forward to coming to New Zealand for a long time, we got to jump from a swing with Richie McCaw, who is a world-class athlete. Passed a rugby ball between speed boats, which was awesome. 
“When it comes to rugby in the states, a lot of people don’t know about it. But rugby has a lot of similarities to American contact sports, like NFL which is hugely popular. We wanted to shine a light on how amazing rugby is, hopefully we have through our Bucket List Down Under content.” 


New Zealand Rugby Commercial CEO, Craig Fenton said the opportunity to collaborate with such influential, engaging content creators Dude Perfect could not be missed. “We’re really lucky to have a rich culture, heritage and reputation for adventure in New Zealand and that extends into rugby. It was fantastic to bring Dude Perfect’s ‘Down Under Bucket List’ to life and showcase some of that culture to a global audience. 
“The USA is a priority market for NZ Rugby, rugby is a growing sport over there, and at the moment the All Blacks have just 16 percent awareness in this market, meaning it is an untapped audience with potential. Partnering with Dude Perfect allows us to engage with the USA market in an authentic, relatable manner especially as we prepare to host an All Blacks game in San Diego in July against Fiji.”
