Local hero, “Searly talks Sport Host” Wit & Charm in one (Kim Say)
World Famous on the footy field for guiding the Cote Prems around the track for over 100 games and kicking match-winning goals. Ben is also infamous for his exploits on the air in Searley Talks Sport – which covers a broad range of topics with humour, intelligence and some well thought out opinions. (Some so not well thought out but still opinions lol!!) Ben is sure to bring wit, humour and educated insight to the banter with the panel.
If nothing else, he’ll ask the questions that Kimberley has written down for him – or he’ll be on the couch at home again.
ETNZ Head Boat builder and Ex Cote player
From Rossa & Cote to the World Stage – in the late 80s he was a tearaway flanker with a dodgy clicking ankle & Fijian flair (yes usually Fijians are tall fast wingers. he missed those genes!!) but drive his bike over the bonnet of a car, forgot the footy & turned his skills to boatbuilding.
He’s now the man who ensures ‘OUR” boat is built to spec, races fast & if the prima-donnas ding it whilst on the water will ensure it’s ready to race again in no time-bound to have great stories of long hours, #8 wire ingenuity & Kiwi talent to share.
Surf lifesaving Champ, Footy Player & ETNZ Grinder – Cote’s Own “Hoff”
After 24 National Surf Lifesaving Titles, more than 50 games for the Cote Prems and representing NZ at World Surf Champs Mike decided another challenge would be grinding in ETNZ.
He was an integral part of the success on the water and as the TV showed enjoyed the champers and taste of success – sure to have some stories for the crowd of off & on water antics.
ETNZ Performance Engineer – 1st Women World Foiling Wasp Class 2020
