It started as a desire to do a preseason trip to Hamilton for the girls. Forty-eight hours later, it was the Rugby Youth Festival in Portugal.

The whole trip was designed around all the best experiences I had when on rugby tours and how the best ones ran.

It started with a meeting at the club in November 2023 for those interested. To be honest, I didn't think I would get enough to make it happen. But I talked all about what they would experience, what they were going to see, who they were going to meet and what their life would be like afterwards.

Three months later, it was all on!
