Play fair. Play hard.
Enjoy the game.
The Northcote Rugby Club has been the place to play rugby in the Kaipatiki region on Auckland’s North Shore since 1929.
With competitive and social, contact and non-contact formats on offer, Northcote Rugby provides opportunities for all ages from 5 years to 60+ and all skill levels to enjoy our great game. We have just over 400 junior players in every grade, from rippa to tackle, and the popular girls and boys rip rugby. Our senior club has around 150 players in competitive and social grades, including Premier 1, Premier 2, under 21s, restricted u85s, over 35s and midweek social teams. We also have a senior Sevens team who plays in the early part of summer.
Shaun Stevenson becomes Northcote’s 13th All Black.
Northcote Premier player Shaun Stevenson will have his All Blacks debut on Saturday, 5 August in Dunedin against Australia. Speaking about being named in the All Blacks starting lineup, Shaun recalled the moment he found out he was playing, saying, it’s a moment I will cherish forever. All Blacks Coach, Ian Foster, said Shaun had been well tested at training the past few weeks and the coaching staff feel he is ready for test rugby.
Congratulations Shaun, from the entire club.
Whether it’s for a sporting event, birthday party, wedding or work gathering, our Northcote Rugby clubrooms offer one of the most versatile function facilities on the North Shore.
