This was my first year at coaching and it was pleasing to have taken 13 boys. (One of whom played in this team last year) through the season to finish with only two losses.

Over the last four months they have all learnt the basic movements of the game. The forwards red by Simon Mesritz at lock were a very strong pack in obtaining 80% of the ball in all games, thus enabling the halfback Anthony Marks and first five eight Michael Monga to run up a total of 105 tries.

Congratulations must go to the rest of the boys for without their hard work these tries would not have been possible/

The game of the season would have to be the winning of the game against the 16th Nursery Gold team who had only the one loss for the season.

Special Congratulations to Tony Weir, Simon Mesritz, Michael Monga and Anthony Marks who with boys from the I6th Nursery Gold and White teams made up a team which went through and won the North Harbour Tournament Trophy.

On behalf of the boys and myself I would like to offer a special thanks to Graema Edwards for all his help in coaching the team.

Player of the season would have to go to Anthony Marks who scored 68 tries - a total of 272 points.

Finally, special thanks to all the Mums and Dads and other supporters for without you having the boys at training and the games on Saturdays our SucceSS would not have been possible.
