2015 North Harbour Champions!

The 2015 season had 14 players returning from the 2014 season and 11 new players. The squad had talent and depth in all positions, which made game day selections difficult throughout the whole season. The team was captained by Louis Whetton who did a tremendous job in motivating his team.

At the beginning of the season, we as a team set some goals to be in the top four at the end of the first and second round. These goals were achieved.

In the first round, we had 1 loss, defaulted in 1 game and 7 wins.  In the second round, we played 7 games with 7 wins. In the home semi against North Shore, we won 46-18. The final was played against Takapuna at the QBE Stadium, of the squad of 22 named for the final 13 had played at QBE Stadium. The half time score was 13-12 to Takapuna. The second half was intense, with Cote taking the lead for the whole of the second half for the last 10 minutes of the game Takapuna was camped inside our 22 and the final score was 29-24 to Northcote.

Top point scorers through the season were Martin Watson 122 Points (1 Try, 42 Conversions and 11 Penalties), Connor Bedwell 90 Points (10 Tries and 20 Conversions) and Ryan Kennedy 60 Points (12 Tries).
