It was a big step up for the boys this year playing on a full field and fifteen-a-side. The boys were ready for the change and the development of the players throughout the year has been huge.

We were fortunate that most players returned from last year & we welcomed new players to the team and some first time to rugby. It was great to see how easily they fitted into the team. We were unlucky to lose two team members very early on through unfortunate non-rugby related injuries

Our main focus has been on the development of the squad and their skills. As the season has progressed, our on-field performance has really improved. We have managed to win our last six games, with our overall year results being P16 W11 L5. More importantly, the boys have had fun and that has shown in the style of rugby they have played with some brilliant tries & solid defence. They can go into next season with a lot of confidence on the back of the skills they have developed.

Every member of our team can feel proud to have contributed to the team success, well done to all. Also, many of the team were selected and have made strong contributions to the successful J4 representative team.

Our thanks to our loyal families and supporters, who have once again got behind and supported the team. This has made for yet another enjoyable and rewarding season.
