A “top” season but no icing on the Cake.

The boys will have to come back another year to try and get their mugs on the championship wall. It has been a challenging and enjoyable year, but I know a number of these boys will go on to play premiers and maybe even be the next centurion.

We started with nine and finished with 28 – mission accomplished – we won all competition games, but finals day showed up some lack of experience when it comes to the big games – nothing that cannot be sorted. Many people helped make the season what it was – especially Divine – at all training and games.

Also, Grant – welcome to the senior club, you are going to be a great resource for the club, and I am sure you will bring home a number of championships – sorry we could not do it for your 1st time up.

Karen – appreciate your patience and support in me wanting to get involved in the youth of our club. Vanessa and Mikayla – for all your support, running Facebook and fantastic weekly photos – we all know the boys love looking at themselves, and your photos are some of the best action photos I have ever seen!
