We were thrilled to have the bulk of the team back for 2017 and to have a few new players to add to the mix. The boys quickly shook off early season rust to play some stellar rugby and achieve some great results.

Despite the Friday night witching hour that is training the team transform on Saturday mornings into a maroon and gold ripping machine.

We worked on running and passing this year. It has been great to hear the cheers from supporters when the boys have strung together 2 or 3 passes in games.

Along with spectacular tries scored and desperate diving for rips to save tries, the common theme for this year has been trying to hold the boys back from tackling and fending! Bring on next year when we can let them loose!!

The Snow White tournament was a highlight of the season. 6 games of Rippa on a sunny warm winter’s day against other clubs from the harbour union and a win in the Plate final. A great experience enjoyed by all!
