What an amazing season we've had this year!. This is my 3rd year coaching and the first being introduced to tackle. We had a small core group from last year’s Rippa Team and some new faces. Some with no rugby experience at all.

Everybody has done a great job of having to learn a lot of new skills associated with tackle rugby. It’s not always easy turning up week after week to trainings and learning new rules but the kids stuck to it and we managed to get a great team together. We have a great supportive attitude and achieved some awesome results. One highlight was playing against Mahurangi up at Warkworth. We were a few players down and played in some very windy and rough conditions. It was a narrow loss but the boys showed great fight right to the end and played as a tight unit.

I couldn't be more proud of the team and look forward to having a crack at another season of tackle next year. Love the Cote!
