This Season J3 Gold played some at times awesome and hard rugby and seemed to come of age. The team welcomed in some new blood who made great improvements throughout the year to add to a solid base of the core players and it was great to see some of the work on’s at training happening on the field!!

Including Tournament Games up until Covid hit with a Bang the Stats were up there, winning 8 out of 9 games including an Epic at North Shore with a Try right on full time winning 50-45 which had everyone stoked on the sidelines and the boys enjoying their footy.

Great season for the ‘fullback‘ Braydon in his first year for the Cote as well As ‘Usain Bolt‘ Jake, The ‘Mongrel’ Nathan lead well all year, with his mates in the front row ‘Smiling Assassin‘ Isiah, ‘Up the Guts’ Blake, ‘Hard Out’ George, ‘the Ripper’ Dante. Tall Timber in the Second Row played a key role around the field and lineouts, with the ‘Intimidating’ Luka and ‘Workhorse’ Daniel. ‘Cheeky stepper’ Anthony was joined in the halves by ‘fast passing‘ Archie, ‘Spinster’ Rylee ‘Rock on Defence and attack’ Lachie Lee, and ‘Can’t get through me’ Henry, also a shout out to Lachie Tuck who took a year off this year but is still one of the boys.

All in all forgetting about Lockdowns, it was a fun year and was proud to see the boys playing good rugby and most of all enjoying it.
