We had a fun few weeks, welcoming 5 new players to our club who were naturals at Rippa and fitted in with Maroon U11's perfectly. Our first game up at Mahurangi set the scene with their amazing shared morning tea they put on, for a fun short season.
Mia and Sara's dad, Simon, did a bit of kicking practice and some of our team started to get into the habit of kicking for territory on the last tag, his was fun to watch.
Caitlyn's Dad, Chris, came in later to share coaching from his years of rugby and time with the prems team to start turning our young ladies into future Black Ferns ... and then lockdown happened again.
It was a great little season, and we hope that Lauren, Dillon, Dominique, Ivana, Manaia, come back together next year to see a full season of U11's.
Thank you to Jess, Caitlyn, Eiva, Hannah, Sara and Mia who will move up to U13's next year.
