This year saw 5 new players join us, Miles, Jade, Diaz and brothers Lucas and Isaac. We welcomed back Sabby, twins Lucas and Flynn and Goach Geoffro.

After a tough opening loss, we found our groove only to suffer injuries to several players the following few weeks. Miles coming off the worst, in the opening game.

Our tight 5 combinations were dominant at scrums, rucks and mauls. Our loose forward combinations were excellent at the breakdown as their technique improved, particularly body positioning and running.

Our backs defensively let through very few players, ran hard aggressive straight lines, linked well and played as though they’d been together for years.

Team highlights – with a heavily injured side, we put up an amazing fight under lights against ECB at home, going down 19- 36.

The other, our last game, the team showed humility, a girl managed to get a pet cat in the last play, not that Diaz let it happen easily!

Try of the season against ECB Black saw Lucas Lagaaia kick defensively from in our goal line, Isaac chase, falling just short in the 22 he kicked in towards halfway, punting 2 more times before gathering and completing a 110m solo effort.
