2021 was an eventful year, we had a few new players in our team this year. They helped us add to our rugby family. As a coach, it is very heart-warming to know this team will always be family. Sadly our team lost 2 players to other sports which is gutting for me, having to say goodbye to some great kids is never easy.

We had a slow start to the season with some close losses before our first win, but what made me happy is whether the kids won or lost they always came off with smiles on their faces. The boys made picking a player of the day extremely hard each and every week. They all played so well and from the bottom of my heart, I thank them.

Each player brought something different to the team. Nelson's strong running game was awesome to see with a few long-range tries this year. Noah's tackling was awesome; he even tackled me one on one. Tom's forward work around the field was great; he was always one of the first to blow over at rucks. Lachlan was great at fending and scored some great tries from it. Alex is the most caring kid on the park and a devastating runner. Ethan loved getting involved at ruck time and was very good at it. Harry had some outstanding pace scoring some great tries in the process. Teo, who was one of the fittest in the team, was not afraid to hit those rucks very hard. Butcher's kicking was way above his years of being able to kick off a tee from the 22m line. Pekema's pass was a great future half right there. Chase is so tough he even played a full game with a fractured wrist (no one knew). Ryo's ability to tackle and run, made him a very good winger, even slotting in the forwards at times. Mason was so good at stripping the ball in the tackle he was able to score some awesome tries from his defence. Oscar's pace and vision allowed him to not only score heaps of tries but also set his teammates up.
