U15 Black side is a mainly young team who had to merge some experienced players who had played U15 last year with new players moving up.

The year started pretty slow - we were 1 from 6 at the start with a series of extremely close games where we kept getting pipped at the post. The 2nd half of the season was a big turnaround as the team bonded and began playing as a team more effectively. The most encouraging thing was when we turned up and beat teams who we had lost to earlier in the year.

Winning or losing was not the main point. The improvement in the team - at both an individual and team level - was so encouraging. The girls are a great group full of potential, full of characters and a joy to be a part of.

A massive thanks to all the parents and supporters, scorers/subbers who pitched in, our fill-in coach (Sean) and the best manager in the club - Lou.
