Hi, I’m Freya Beaumont, and I’ve been playing rugby since I was 9. I’ve always loved anything with an oval ball, and rugby has shaped who I am — teaching me discipline, resilience, and the power of teamwork.
I’ve been lucky enough to co-captain both my Westlake Girls High School team and the Harbour U18 7s side, which has grown my confidence and leadership on and off the field.
Getting the opportunity to travel to Portugal is honestly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. It would mean the world to me to compete internationally, grow my game, and represent where I come from on a bigger stage.
I’d be so grateful for any support to help me get there — ngā mihi nui
I have 20 spaces on the back of my training shirt to list friends and family supporting me in my rugby.
If you wish to help me with a donation or make a payment, you can do so using the QR Code or the button below, which allows you to make an online payment.
And thank you very much. Everything helps.
