When the team arrived in Portugal, we were just a team of girls who wanted to be rugby players.
By the end of the year, we had:
Portugal is a long way away, and we will need sponsorship to get there. Can you help?
Become the team's naming sponsor and get your name and logo on all our gear and media through to May 2027.
In 2025, the team generated an amazing interest from people at home and abroad. Not just the excitement of the adventure ahead, but the tournament achievements. More people watched the girls live-stream final than any other final.
By supporting the team, you become part of the team, come to our events and practices, be part of the journey, and as you support us, we would love to support you.
Look to support the team and girls rugby development by sponsoring the team. Your support goes directly to aiding the players in getting to the tournament.
As a sponsor, we will promote you through our media channels.
Each player has space across the back of their jersey for a major player sponsor, as well as logos on each sleeve for minor sponsors.
Help a player directly by sponsoring them to become the rugby player they wish to be.
We have a lot of talent and experienced players at Northcote in the Women's and Men's Premier teams, and we want to leverage that to help give the players more one-on-one mentorship
By sponsoring a mentor, you can reward their time and effort by covering their player subs for the 2026 season.
The mentor gets to pass on knowledge and be another voice and shoulder of support for our players, and the girls get valuable time when it's just all about them.
In April 2027, we are entering a U18 Girls' Rugby team into the Rugby Youth Festival, which is held in Lisbon, Portugal. This will be the 19th year of this tournament, which attracts 120 teams.
The tour will start by landing in Paris, where we will take the train to La Rochelle to play a warm-up match against the Top 14 club, Stade Rochelle U18 girls. From there, we will travel to Lisbon and the tournament to pair up with a 'sister' team. We will share training and dinner, and look to support each other during the tournament.

We are there to play rugby and represent NZ Rugby, our team and ourselves. But rugby is also about meeting new friends and people and experiencing new places.
At Northcote we are passionate about creating pathways for girls and women’s rugby so we are excited to back this tour!
It’s great to see opportunities like these for young women through grassroots rugby clubs

We would love to discuss you supporting our U18 girl's rugby program.
