2024 Premier Announcement
Harcourts Cooper & Co Bec Whitley Property Premier 1 Men’s coaching and management team announcement for 2024.
We’re thrilled to confirm Rahul Das, and Mike Noble will continue to coach our Harcourt Cooper & Co Premier 1 Men for the upcoming season with the addition of Richard Mayhew as Resource Coach, supported by the great management team of Brad Boult, Finlay Barnett and Dominic Roe. It’s a tried and trusted lineup with a depth of expertise, commitment and momentum. We can’t wait to see what’s in store for 2024.
RAHUL DAS (Head Coach): Rahul is a player-driven coach with great technical and tactical nous. He is well respected and has extensive experience and knowledge in achieving growth and success at a high level. He is currently coaching the NZ Black Touch Men’s team and is a former coach of the University Rugby Club Dunedin, where he guided them to club championships.
MIKE NOBLE (Assistant Coach): Mike is a North Harbour icon with a distinguished playing career that included representing East Coast, North Harbour (part of the Ranfurly Shield winning team), NZ Māori and playing overseas. Mike has taken his vast knowledge and expertise of forward skills, particularly the front row, to the coaching environment. He has been a member of the coaching team for the Harbour Development team in 2023.
RICHARD MAYHEW (Resource Coach): Richard brings a depth of experience and Cote culture to the team. A Northcote centurion, Richard played rugby professionally for North Harbour, and Newcastle Falcons and Yorkshire Carnegie in the United Kingdom. He is currently the 1st XV Head Coach at Rosmini College.
BRAD BOULT (Manager): Brad is the ultimate manager – organised, caring and committed. In addition to managing the Premier 1 Men’s team in 2023, Brad has also been the manager for the Harbour Development team.
FINLAY BARNETT (Trainer): As a NZ Black Touch representative, Fin knows what players need. He is organised and committed.
DOMINIC ROE (Physio): Dom is an experienced physiotherapist who balances player welfare and return to play well. Dom has also been the team physio for the North Harbour Hibiscus and U19 teams in 2023.
