Springboks Women Push Black Ferns XV Close in Cape Town

The Springbok Women delivered a gutsy performance in Cape Town, pushing the Black Ferns XV to the brink in a thrilling encounter.

The Black Ferns XV made a fast and physical start in Cape Town, running out 34–26 winners over a determined Springbok Women’s side. Building a commanding 34–12 lead with sharp attacking play and clinical finishing, the Black Ferns XV looked in control for much of the match before the home side crossed the chalk twice late in the game.

Centre Kelsey Teneti was the star performer for New Zealand with three tries.
