One of Northcote's foundation members joining in 1929 as a young 13 year old.

At 87 he was elected as the inaugural Maroon and Gold award member. A commemorative cap, befitting the occasion, was presented to him by club old boy, the Mayor of North Shore, George Wood whom Len used to coach.
