Tayla has been playing rugby since age 5, transitioning to tackle rugby in J6, and continued to play in mixed teams through her junior club days. While she is often the smallest player on the field, she makes up for her lack of size with her big heart and fearlessness. She is known for her smashing tackles and does not shy away from even the biggest opposition player on the field. Her passion and commitment to the game were acknowledged as she received the Junior Girls Excellence Award at club level in 2020 & 2023.
Tayla has been excited at the growth in women's rugby over the last few years. This has allowed Tayla to play at the Junior Girls Rugby festival in Christchurch (2023) and Auckland (2024). She is thrilled to now have the opportunity to go to Portugal to play the game she loves now!
I have space on the back of my training shirt to list friends and family supporting me in my rugby.
Details here on how to support.
If you can support online at
I have three spaces which you can choose to sponsor me. The first is your name across the back of my jersey, and then there are two logo spaces on the shoulders.
You may even be interested in becoming the naming sponsor for the whole team, where you will get your name on the front of every jersey as well as across all our team gear.
If you just wish to help me with a donation you can do so using the payment link below which allows you to pay online.
And thank you very much. Everything helps.
We would love to discuss you supporting our U19 girl's rugby program.
