The game against Ponsonby, the Gallagher shield holders was a great show of what the team has. Though a loss of 16-17 the team should have won with Paul Feeney putting a drop goal over in the last minute but the referee determining that because the ball was touched by a Ponsonby player it was "carried behind" and gave a five yard scrum.
