All teams apart from Premiers are eligible. This shield is awarded in consideration of sportsmanship, knowledge of rules, and number of games won on average and placing in respective competition. Maurice was a member of the 1939 3rd Grade, went off to war and died from wounds received while in the Western Desert in 1942.
This shield has been donated by the Arblaster brothers in his memory.
